OREMUS.
Omnipotens sempiterne Deus, qui ineffabili bonitatis tuae consilio cunctis fidelibus ab utero Matris custodem corporis et animae specialem Angelum deputasti, concede, ut quem mihi misericorditer tribuisti sic observem et diligam, ut gratiae tuae munere illiusque munimine protectus, in caelesti patria vultum gloriae tuae cum illo et caeteris Angelis merear contemplari. 		Let us pray.
Almighty and everlasting God, who, by the ineffable counsel of Thy goodness, hast appointed from their mother’s womb for all the faithful, a special Angel as guardian of body and soul. Grant that I may so observe and love him whom Thou hast mercifully given to me, that, protected by the gift of Thy grace and by his guardianship, I may deserve, together with him and the other Angels, to contemplate in the heavenly homeland the countenance of Thy glory.
Emptis pretio magno et ad SS. Angelorum sodalitatem vocatos, concede, Domine Iesu, salutaris continentiae donum ; et fac nos glorificare et portare te iugiter in corpore nostro et ne permittas vel nominari in nobis quidquid non decet Sanctos. Bought with a great price and called to the fellowship of the Most Holy Angels, grant, O Lord Jesus, the gift of salutary self-restraint; and make us glorify and bear Thee continually in our body, and do not permit anything nor anything to be mentioned in us that is not fitting for the Saints.
Deus pacis et amator caritatis, inter famulos tuos quibus unus est Deus, una fides, unum baptisma, unum sacrificium et una sodalitas, sint cor unum et anima una ; ut alter alterius onera portantes, crescamus de die in diem in fide, in spe, in caritate Christi, et sicut ille dilexit nos, diligamus invicem; Per eundem Dominum nostrum. O God of peace and lover of charity, among Thy servants, for whom there is but one God, one faith, one baptism, one sacrifice, and one fellowship, let there be but one heart and one soul; so that, bearing one another’s burdens, we may grow from day to day in the faith, in the hope, and in the charity of Christ; and just as He loved us, may we love one another.
